There is not a better feeling than finally having all of your things unpacked after moving! After hours and hours of packing, you do hours and hours of unpacking and organizing getting things just how you want....its an exhausting procedure! Here are a few tips that I would recommend to make it easier on yourself!
1. Plan ahead- If you know what day your moving, go through stuff and donate things you don't want to bring with you instead of packing crap that you aren't even keeping!
2. Pack smart- If it takes you a few hours to pack up your things in boxes, spend the five extra minutes to organize your things in boxes for particular rooms. Like keep your bathroom stuff in the bathroom box so your not going back and forth between rooms. (I did this and it drove me crazy!!)
3. Get your address changed- Sign up with Canada Post to have your mail forwarded to your new address close to your moving date so mail doesn't get sent to your old place, this will give you a break and the new people in your old place!
4. Room-mates- If your moving out and lived with room mates, go through everything way before your move date so you can separate your things from theirs. Especially pay attention to things that are in the pantry and soap kinda stuff, if you paid half take half with you!
5. Do it cheap- When you know your moving out, look into different ways for your move. If your only moving a short distance plan out how you will move everything (do you need a truck?) if your moving a distance away, look into different trailer options or truck rentals and moving companies to find the cheapest way possible! Trust me, its worth the extra homework!
Those are my moving tips from my experiences, just don't let the stress get to you! Its a journey many of us have to take in our lives and try to make the best out of it!!!

Staples
With summer officially starting within a few weeks, I know many of us are so excited to wear some of our cutest outfits of the year. Sure we have to shave our legs again but hell with it, totally worth it in my books to look good this summer!
This is the first summer in a very long time for me to be single and it is amazing how much I have already learned about myself as a person, but I've found new ways to express myself through what I wear too. I never had so much fun with clothing in the past as I do now!
The thing is, do you really want to pay a fortune for clothes that will not be "trendy" for next year then have to buy again? The key is in my opinion is to have simple, pieces that you can use for all seasons and trends! Start with the basics!
I am no guru, I don't pay attention to high fashion, I don't own anything that is a huge brand name, so these pieces are affordable and wearable!
First up is something I was so nervous about wearing for so long...but once you get the hang of them and see how they easily go with so many outfits..its hard to not want em', plus you can start off with a small wedge with so many different kinds available!
Nude Wedges
There are so many neutral colours out there right now, I bought a pair from Suzy Shier that are a bit different than these but I have worn them three times already! These ones are called Tatom, from Call It Spring and are $40.00
White Tank
I probably have five different styles of a the old basic white tank top at this point...I love how easy it is to dress a white tank, whether it be a spaghetti strap or even a tube top they are so comfy to wear and super easy to dress up or wear casually! They are usually easy to find, I found this one at Urban Planet for $6.00
Classic Skinnies (Or just..jeans)
Skinny jeans are the one pair of pants I have the hardest time getting off! I usually bounce around on one foot until I pull them off (haha) Anyways Skinny Jeans are a staple I think. There are so many different options if you don;t like the Skinny like, boot-fit, Slim etc. These ones are super cheap and are called the Classic Skinnies at Forever 21 for $12.80
Those are my main staples for now! I have recently gone on quite bit of a shopping extravaganza but I will update this within the next while when I'm not packing up my home. I am so excited for summer and can't wait to show ya'll my new journey of finding myself!

360 degree flip
It has been quite sometime since I have had any desire to blog. Since my last post my life has gone in a completely opposite direction. I am no longer moving to the Great White North, I am no longer in a relationship and I am not longer continuing my education (at this point).....Yup, take all of this and throw into the same week of your life and you can only imagine that shock was the initial feeling.
I don't have many years of age under my belt yet, but the relationship ended because the time to find who we are is now and I would of been miserable over time if I had moved up there with him. Don't get me wrong, I was heartbroken but deep down after the anger and crying had passed, I know it was for the best. Oh and I went through all of this while still doing my work experience for school, so that helped by staying busy.
It truly amazing how much about my self I have already discovered. I am not angry anymore, I forgive him and at this point I know we will be great friends for a very very long time, which is a huge relief. Losing a boyfriend is one thing but to loose your best friend really would of been too much.
So many things have came into my life that have changed my perspective on things. I've accomplished goals that I would never of have seen myself completing two years ago. A person in your life can change your outlook but they can also help you grow. I will always thank him for that. I am now officially done with my diploma program that I was taking in Graphic Communications. It is such an amazing feeling knowing how far I have come as a person and how much I have learned. I will never loose this knowledge and I am ready for the next chapter of my life.
My advice that yes may be in-experienced for my age, I have already gone through so much I feel like deep down I gained a lot of wisdom. To anyone out there who even reads this, always remember that it is darkest before the dawn, what doesn't kill you does make you stronger as a human. Your soul will only grow and become stronger from what life throws at you. I have only discovered the beginning of what I want in my life, and what I want to get from it but I can tell you I am so excited to start my 20's in two months with such a brave outlook on everything. Confidence is key to understanding that you can achieve anything. A good friend told me I can achieve anything I set my mind too, and he is right and I will always be grateful for his words of kindness because when someone tells you something that changes your life, you better start believing that everything happens for a reason and that it will be okay.
Don't stop believing in yourself, ever.

So You Had A Bad Day?
Everyone, every single human on this planet understands what a "Bad Day" is.
We have all experienced one in our life, probably more than a few really.
We wouldn't be human if we didn't have these bad days. Life would be too boring without having an
obstacle to conquer. Life would be pointless if life didn't give us anything to get over and make us stronger as a person.
A Bad Day can really suck. Lets not pretend they are full of rainbows and kittens and puppies!
Everyone knows how at the end of the day getting into your bed all snuggled up, after a Bad Day you just wanna have a sniffle or whatever it may be that you do to get your frustrations, sadness, stress out.
Bad Day's only make us stronger, let us learn how to make tomorrow even better. A Bad Day lets us see the light of tomorrow, and a new day lets us learn how to grow as a person. Every single one of us is loved by one other person out there. Regardless of where they may be, don't ever forget someone loves you out in the universe. We are all humans with flaws and Bad Day's. When you have a Bad Day, take a few minutes to breathe deeply close your eyes and think of how much love there is in the world for you. Bad Day's don't always have to be so negative, learn something from your Bad Day!

Sunday Bore-Day
Usually I enjoy my Sunday's, just because it is usually a get "stuff done" and hang out in sweats all day. Today unfortunately is not one of those days. I have errands to do and a to do list that keeps getting bigger and longer every day that passes. I'm assuming its because each day is a day closer to my move up to Whitehorse.
So I spent my Saturday night cleaning my makeup brushes and organizing my make-up so I wouldn't have to do it closer to the move. It really is a scary thing when you take all that you own out and look....thank fully I bought so much from E.L.F in December I'm probably set for a year or two! (Seriously, it was a close call to having an intervention!)
I cleaned my brushes, which one, I have way more than I thought, two it took me a lot longer than I thought it would! So here is my collection of lipsticks, glosses, mascara etc., etc. I only took pictures of what I own mostly from E.L.F because that is what I use mostly, there are other things too but my battery died on my camera.
First off, quite a while back I posted what I had ordered from my latest haul from Elf, this was during their "Mystery Bag" promotion.

First off, quite a while back I posted what I had ordered from my latest haul from Elf, this was during their "Mystery Bag" promotion.
Studio Glossy Lip gloss in Chicago, Super Glossy Lip Gloss,Gem Nail File, Face Powder Mineral Brush, Smokey Eye shadow Palette ( I already had this :( , Every Day Eye palette
So over all I was a tad disappointed with the Mystery Bag. I mean I was stoked that I got it all free for spending $20, but I saw what other people got in theirs and was sad because I had already had 4 of these items! So I gave the ones I didn't need to my friends! The Super Glossy Lip Gloss is my favorite from this bag, it has such a nice color (I don't know what one it is, it doesn't say on the tube)
So moving on to my brush cleaning and most of my other E.L.F items. A few of these are my absolute favourite items I have ever bought. A lot of them I would recommend in a heart beat!
I have never owned anything from MAC or other high end makeup products so I really don't know how to compare it to bigger brands, but I can vouch for Elf for beating drugstores brands right out of the water.
So here is most of what I own from Elf, trust me not all of it is here. Most of it is studio items, I think I'm drawn towards the nice black packaging. My HD Powder is my lifesaver, I love this and will never stop buying it, It replaces powder and gives my face a nice "matte" look which looks really flawless. I also love the All Over Stick ( Essential Item), When I want a dewy look to my face i use this. The mineral foundation is another absolute love, the only thing is that it is in such a small container, so I use small amounts! EyeLid Primer, is a must. This kept my makeup in the EXACT same spot on New Years and I woke up with my eyemake up the exact same, and trust me it was a wild night for that makeup to survive through. For only a $1, it really doesn't get any better than this primer.
These are my assortment of cleaned face brushes. I had no idea I had so many of these until it took me over 20 minutes to clean them. I never knew how to use a Fan Brush, until now. And it is amazing how much of a difference it makes on how your bronzer and blush look, it gives is a natural look. The Elf Essentials Angled brush is incredible buy as well, giving my cheekbones wonderful defitnition when applied correctly. I also love love love love! the Elf Studio Powder brush. I use this after i put on foundation and it rids of any streaks or blobs that the Elf studio foundation brush tends to leave.
The angled eyeliner brush from Elf is a defitnite need for doing a perfect cat-eye or angled wing look!
I also love my "C" brush. The rest are sometimes never used and a few get used every day.
I was never really into lipstick and lipgloss for the longest time. I was too afraid to wear something bold, or something that makes my lips all shiny. I guess I didn't want to look like someone from the 90'2 with that lipliner thing going on, but I have slowly gotten into using them and I love the essential Lipsticks. Captivating is my favorite by far followed my pouty petal from the studio line. I always forget to try to wear one every day to just expeirment, but I am learning what works well with what kind of face make-up I am already wearing.
So there ya have it, again not all of my makeup is here. If it were, we would be possibly writing a short novel. I never regret buying what I have, because in the end I find a way to use it to my advantage and make it work.
Have a lovely Sunday-Bore-day everyone!

Distance & Love
Ohhh, the feeling of spring! It feels fantastic going out for runs in the sun, soaking up Vitamin D and just feel great! Spring is starting to become my favorite season, I think it's the birds mostly. I love the sound of birds..except pigeons. They are highly populated where I live and they start to "mate" I believe...and it is really hard to sleep in when you can hear the pigeons getting more action than you.....Which flows into today's topic with the blog, which is a bit sappy not gonna lie!
About 8 weeks ago my boyfriend of 2 years got a job as an Helicopter Mechanic in Whitehorse, Yukon. Yes, the Great White North..I was beyond thrilled for him because he had just graduated that day from school so, it was crazy. That week his parents were staying with us, and he was in stress mode and everything was crazy. It didn't hit me what was really happening until 3 days before he was leaving. Not only did I still have almost 4 months left of school, I wouldn't be able to see him until I was done school. So, not only did we barely have time together before he left and then it was the morning he was leaving. All the way from Vancouver...to Whitehorse...without me. Hahaha, 5am came so fast and our goodbye was really short and memorable but, a week later I was so distraught and felt so ...off. So here we are 8 weeks later, and I think I have learned how to have a long distance relationship..successfully. Some days you wake up and feel so lost and alone even when your around people, but realize that it is all worth it. and hell has it made me a stronger person.
So here are some help full Tips for staying strong through a long distance relationship :) (Im not a relationship expert or anything that is for sure, but these have helped me get through the distance.)

- Do not watch sappy movies thinking it will make you happy...even if you usually can watch them, I am such a crybaby it sad on its own. I saw the Vow, and oh it was not a good time.
- Do not sit at home moping around like it is the end of the world they are not with you. Go and do something outside or take up a hobby or a class.
- Find a way to communicate when you are both available, try to make it a routine. (It helps to not just text every day..)
- Get yourself all dolled up, put on something sexy and let em see what they have or do the opposite and wear sweats and whatever you like, either or they will know that they have a special person. (I feel like this reminds each other what you both stand for)
- Don't be afraid to be lovey dovey when you need to, not seeing each other daily makes you realize that the small things really do make your day
- If you go out with friends, try not to be mopey or talk 100% all about your significant other, others will get bored and maybe even annoyed.
- Exercise. This has helped me take out a lot of emotional feelings that have brought my stress down and relaxed me, plus it is a great way to get in shape.
- Find ways to stay connected physically, no piece of technology can produce the same feeling as a hug or cuddling and watching a movie but finding a way through be it webcam os skype or which have you helps close any physical distance,
- Stay Strong. Not every day is going to be an easy one.
- How ever long it may be, always remember what you have and don't let the "bad" thoughts take over in your brain.
These are what has really helped me get through the last 8 weeks. I have about 6 weeks left until my move up to Whitehorse and the closer and closer I get the more and more excited I get. I get nervous thinking about it wondering stuff like, have things changed? Is it going to be the same? But regardless, anyone who goes through anything like this, just believe in your relationship and stay busy!
Stay postive young pups!

Luna Caramel Nut Brownie Flavour Review
Hello Hello! Today's blog isn't about beauty or anything like that but its about a bar.....yes a protein energy whatever you want to call it.
First off the bat, I bought this only because it was on sale for $1.19. I wanted to see how it tasted and all I have to say is that I prefer my home-made raw bars 150% over this.
It is so dry which makes you so thirsty it really isn't even funny. It tastes so processed and fake and not like anything real except the walnuts. I didn't get a "brownie" feeling from it at all. It was very sweet for a "health" bar as well which I guess would curb a chocolate or caramel craving but over all this bar will not be bought again from me!
Ways it could be improved:
- have the brownie part of the bar be soft like a real brownie and not like stone...
- have more walnuts inside
- no be so hard overall to chew
- maybe not have a page of ingredients in the bar that I can't even pronounce?
The only real positive feedback I have for this is that the packaging is nicely done, but that is just from my nerdy Print eyes noticing that!
A whole piece of this bar goes into my "not to buy again or try again list," I wouldn't recommend it just because of the dryness (Yes, I'm sure they need that so it doesn't go bad on the shelf but come on!) also the whole brownie aspect of it was missed dearly in my opinion. This had inspired me to go make some of my own homemade raw bars, so have a great Friday!

Monday Free-day
Everyone knows Monday's are terrible, they are so far from Friday...
My sister went home this morning, even though I will be back home this weekend for my spring break but still.
Meanwhile my boyfriend has finally arrived safely in Whitehorse after a 5 day drive up to his new job.
I am super super happy for him and proud but I miss the hell out of him. But, my Mamma keeps telling me
"What doesn't kill you Makes your Stronger."
So today was actually okay! This morning I found this braclet in the alley walking to Ihop with my sister. It made my morning, its actually really cute. After my Digital Print class I was on the bus coming home and saw a SPC package (its a Student Price Card and costs about $9 for those who don;t know and gives you discounts to a zillion places)
And it has not been activated and its brand new! I was so excited..I mean Vancouver is a busy place and people loose stuff all the time, but today I really got lucky! When I thought my awesome karma couldn't get better I got home and saw I got my Julep Maven Box!
I ordered this a few weeks back when they had a promo on that you could get a box for only $.01. Thanks to a fellow blogger (http://hapamanda.blogspot.com) I am now enjoying a harsh $1.90 for two nail polishes and a hair spray. Thanks Hapamanda!

Pink Slips & Sisters
Yesterday my baby sister came from the island (my home), well she's only two years younger so not a baby but still. She is going to see Mac Miller tomorrow night, I'm so jealous and i regret not buying tickets right away.
So after I met her downtown Vancouver, we went home and had some lunch.
We then wandered to the Thrift Store up the street looking for nothing in particular. My sister was looking for cassettes (yes, cassettes) for her Jeep since she doesn't have a CD player yet. So with no luck we went to the Value Village. She got a Bryan Adams Best Hits, Def Leopard Lynyrd Skynrd, and a Now Rap's What I Call Music.
I also realized that Value Village has rocks in their heads for what they charge now. A lot of their clothing is not even priced that fairly anymore, the second they see a brand name they jack it up like 5 times. But, I am pretty cheap when it comes to second-hand clothes so.
But, I did buy one thing!
A Liz Clairborne New York Purse/Clutch
I love the colour and the straps are removable!
I'm a bit obsessed with it right now but...who wouldn't be?
I paid $26 for it, and that was at Value Village.
(This is without straps)
With Straps, and Flash
Then we came back home, got ready and went for dinner to Earls.
It's just a bus ride away so we ended up eating around 8:20.
We got three appies and omg they were so good.
After dinner which she paid for (such a nice sister!)
we walked to the Tim Horton's. * Yes, such a Canadian thing to do I know hahah. I got a half French Vanilla and Honey Crueler. Its ROLL UP THE RIM month, but neither of us won. After we left we were walking to the bus stop and there was a tiny little hill and I told my sister that it was slippery and two seconds later she completed slid and ate it.
Amazingly she still had her Hot chocolate up in her hand not a drop spilled! But she was covered in mud and when she tried to get back up she made this hilarious old lady yelp and fell back down. It was seriously a almost piss yourself kinda of moment.
After running for the bus we got home and got into cozyness and made ....this drink we call the "Pink Slip". (because of the colour and the events of the night hahah) Her's was a Virgin but mine was so yummy I usually only drink beer or whatever but ohh these can be dangerous!
Well anyways hope everyone has a good, lazy Sunday and Remember that the smallest things that make you laugh can become the biggest memories

My Youngest Elf Order
So, I haven't noted this yet but I am a E.L.F make up lover.....It got a bit ...overboard this past year but I made an order the other day..this is my 6th order since April 2011. I know that may not seem like a lot compared to other E.L.F lovers but hey, I'm a full time college student, a girl can only get so much make-up..(plus I honestly I do not know where to put it anymore!)
So I will share with you what I ordered from the U.S website the other day.
They had a $20 free "mystery" bag with a purchase of over $20, and since I love anything free I caved in! I got a friend to get a few things with my order as well since up here in Canada, the shipping is about $14,, that way we both get new stuff and only pay about $7 ish :)
I will try to do a review of everything when I get my order, which is about three weeks from now (hahahah gotta love shipping to Canada!)

Drug Store Extravaganza
Do you ever walk into a store and go there for something like...stamps or milk then find insane deals and find yourself spending over 40 minutes at the store and buying more than just the milk or stamps???
This is exactly what happened to me today! I went to go get some stamps for a letter and a birthday card I had to send out at Shoppers Drug Mart, and got side tracked.
There was a few stock-boys putting out reduced merchandise (apparently the store is closing or moving somewhere), and I saw a few things that caught my eye. So after I didn't even get stamps, i ran back home (its like 5 minute walk) then I ran back to the store with more money because they has insane deals!
So today, I'm going to share my drugstore extravaganza adventure with you!
