This is the first summer in a very long time for me to be single and it is amazing how much I have already learned about myself as a person, but I've found new ways to express myself through what I wear too. I never had so much fun with clothing in the past as I do now!
The thing is, do you really want to pay a fortune for clothes that will not be "trendy" for next year then have to buy again? The key is in my opinion is to have simple, pieces that you can use for all seasons and trends! Start with the basics!
I am no guru, I don't pay attention to high fashion, I don't own anything that is a huge brand name, so these pieces are affordable and wearable!
First up is something I was so nervous about wearing for so long...but once you get the hang of them and see how they easily go with so many outfits..its hard to not want em', plus you can start off with a small wedge with so many different kinds available!
Nude Wedges
There are so many neutral colours out there right now, I bought a pair from Suzy Shier that are a bit different than these but I have worn them three times already! These ones are called Tatom, from Call It Spring and are $40.00
White Tank
I probably have five different styles of a the old basic white tank top at this point...I love how easy it is to dress a white tank, whether it be a spaghetti strap or even a tube top they are so comfy to wear and super easy to dress up or wear casually! They are usually easy to find, I found this one at Urban Planet for $6.00
Classic Skinnies (Or just..jeans)
Skinny jeans are the one pair of pants I have the hardest time getting off! I usually bounce around on one foot until I pull them off (haha) Anyways Skinny Jeans are a staple I think. There are so many different options if you don;t like the Skinny like, boot-fit, Slim etc. These ones are super cheap and are called the Classic Skinnies at Forever 21 for $12.80
Those are my main staples for now! I have recently gone on quite bit of a shopping extravaganza but I will update this within the next while when I'm not packing up my home. I am so excited for summer and can't wait to show ya'll my new journey of finding myself!
